There are many places in Kyoto that have wonderful displays of maple leaves during the autumn season. Tōfuku-ji (東福寺) in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto is in my opinion amongst the most breathtaking.
Every autumn season, almost the whole of Japan, flocks to the Tōfuku-ji (東福寺) temple. They come by train, car and busload after busload arrives on the bridge over-spanning the Kamogawa River. Enjoy this little clip and dream of a Tōfuku-ji wonderland.
