I spent 5 amazing days in the beautiful Mother City of Cape Town catching up with old friends, eating delicious South African food, acting like a tourist and spending lots of time up the mountain and on the beach. It was an amazing experience revisiting my old home.
On my last day in South Africa, I visited the township Soweto (where Nelson Mandela grew up) near Johannesburg. This bicycle tour was without a doubt one of my best life experiences. The gorgeous friendly kids, the local shebeens (drinking parlors), the poverty which made me appreciate all that I have, the friendliness of the locals.
